Washing your face with oils is a very old ancient tradition. This old tradition is now being re birthed into the 21st century. Something that seems so foreign is now becoming very normal. The idea of putting oil on top of oil seems counter productive. But what some of us don't understand is that knowing what oils to wash with not only cleanses your face but moisturizes it also.
Washing your face with the perfect blend of oils will not break your face out. Break outs are caused by hormones, bacteria, toxins and dead skin cells. When you wash your face with oils, they will dissolve the natural oil that has hardened with impurities and gets stuck in your pores.
Apply the correct oils to your face and they will go deep into the pores and it will draw out the dirt and grime to the surface where it can be wiped away. The essential fatty acids are a necessity for the health of cell membranes and the acids in the the oils restore the skins natural moisture balance and help prevent dryness.
When you wash your face with the right combination of oils, your face will not only be clean but you can use the oils to moisturize, hydrate, rejuvenate, remove toxins, heal and diminish fine lines.
Make sure that you not only cleanse your face properly but that you are also drinking plenty of water. I saw a Youtube yesterday by David Wolfe and he said to drink 2 liters first thing in the morning!!! That is even a lot of water for me!!! Water helps remove the toxins which in turn help with making your skin look better! I also take Diaotamaous Earth and Detox Daily for my personal detoxing. I have written previous blogs about both of them. Give it a try!! You will not be disappointed. Radiant Skin is a great place to start when you begin to transition to the process. Can your oils be used to cleanse my skin during pregnancy? Thanks for all of your great tips and information.
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren,
ReplyDeleteMy face wash has carrot seed oil in it which I know can not be injested if you are pregnant. But you would probably need to check with your doctor to verify that it would be okay to use topically. Thank you so much for coming by and reading the posts!!
