Easy Facials

All of us like to go and get facials!! But sometimes our lives get really busy and we don't take the time to go and enjoy one... So for those times in our lives I thought I would give you a few at home facial recipes that are not only easy, but great for your skin.

The Avocado Mask....
This is a great mask to moisturize your skin. Even if you don't have dry skin, do it once or twice a month just for added radiance.

Smash up or puree an avocado, add 6-7 drops of a fresh squeezed orange. Add one tablespoon of hemp oil. Massage this mixture into the face and neck.  Also cut 2 cucumber slices and lay them over your eyes. Lie down and relax for 20-30 min. Rinse off and see the effects!!

Cucumber Mask for oily skin....
Peel a cucumber, finely grate it. Lie down and apply the grated cucumber to your skin. Have a warm towel ready to place over the face. Relax for 20-30 minutes, then rinse...Check out the results.

Aloe Vera Mask
Purchase an aloe vera leaf and fillet the leaf and take out the gel, or buy organic aloe vera gel.
Rub a thick layer of the Aloe Vera gel into your face and neck. Allow the gel to dry on your face, and then go to bed and sleep with the gel on your face. Rinse with lukewarm water in the morning.  Instant face lift!

So do something good and relaxing for yourself...

These are the masks I use, try one out and let me know what you think............

Until next time,

Jan

  1. I love these ideas! The aloe vera seems like the most simple, so probably the first one I'll try. Thanks for the great tips!

  3. Here is a great, easy peach facial (full of exfoliating fruit acids, Vitamin C and A)

    1. Peach, ripe, peeled, pitted.
    2. 1 egg white.

Whip the peach and egg white together in a blender until smooth. Gently pat the mixture all over your face. Relax for 30 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water.

Jan, do you happen to make any hair masks at home? I'd love to switch from store products to something more natural at least twice a month :)

    Have a great weekend!
